ABS+ filament for durable functional parts, housings, fixtures and mechanical components. It combines good impact resistance with the practical advantages of ABS and is intended for parts where strength and durability matter more than ease of printing. For best results, print on a heated bed in an enclosed printer.
Prof. Lab ABS+ is a practical choice for functional 3D prints that need to withstand everyday mechanical use. Its strength and impact resistance make it well suited to housings, brackets, fixtures, replacement parts, prototypes and other components where standard PLA may be too brittle or temperature-sensitive.
Like other ABS-based materials, ABS+ benefits from controlled printing conditions. A heated bed and enclosed build chamber help reduce warping, particularly with larger parts. The recommended nozzle temperature is 220-250 C and the heated bed temperature is 95-110 °C.
The filament has a diameter of 1.75 mm with a stated tolerance of +-0.03 mm and is supplied on a 1 kg spool. ABS should be printed in a well-ventilated area.
Spool diameter is 195mm, hole size 75mm.
